BOLLARD
Securapost Products, well
known our architectural and Security
bollards, have recently released a new Retractable
Bollard for access control applications.
The project pictured below
is an installation at the Melbourne University
where our Retractable Bollard was used
to replace timber bollards that needed to
be physically removed each time access was
required.
Pneumatically powered, the
Retractable Bollards can be
operated by either hand-held remote control,
swipe or proximity cards and provide a more
aesthetically acceptable alternative to
boom gates.
The MRB Retractable Bollards
are manufactured in stainless steel and
can be used where fast operating speeds
and high usage is important. They retract
flush with the ground and also provide a
higher degree of Security than boom gates
when raised.

INTRODUCTION
The patented locking and
removable system is unique to our range of
Bollards. Securapost was originally
invented for the prevention of ram raiding
& Impact Security ™ of roller shutter doors and glass shop fronts
while being easily removable. We have worked
with architects and designers to develop a comprehensive
range of Bollards in steel, ductile, iron,
pre-cast concrete and high density Polyurethane

& REMOVABLE
While all Securapost Bollards can be
fixed permanently, the major feature of the
Securapost is the locking and removable
option, unique to us. The locking and removable
models incorporate our unique locking and
removal system (Australian patent 624290).
These Bollards provide high levels of Security
and are designed to allow quick and easy removal
when required, and to allow access for pedestrian
and vehicular traffic or high Security to
